Alan Solomon is a South African currently living in America. He is widely known as one of South Africa’s leading concert violinists and music educators. From 1980 to 1998 he was professor of violin and viola at the University of Pretoria, where he also conducted the university’s prestigious symphony orchestra. However, his range of interests extends far beyond music. Cosmology, quantum science, string theory, metaphysics, psychology, mysticism and theosophy are all part of his universal view of life.
